The National Hurricane Center
There's
no doubt that window film can dramatically increase the strength
of your windows during hurricanes and other tropical storms. But
did you know that it also keeps your windows from shattering?
This is VERY IMPORTANT TO PREVENT because if your windows shatter
during a windstorm, it can create a vacuum type environment where
your roof could be blown off from the inside out. Most people
don't realize that professional window film installation can protect
you in more ways than just one.
Our
films pass large missile impact tests, this can not be said for
other window films on the market. Our films also meet GSA and
DoD Blast standards as well. We use a wet seal anchoring system
to form a structural bond between the film, the glass and the
frame. This "System" prevents the glass from "popping"
out of the frame during a blast event, or the positive and negative
cycling of a hurricane.
